The farmhouse itself dates back to 1724 and has been owned by the present Gray family for five generations. Formally the stables to Ravensworth Castle the buildings have been converted into bedrooms & dining room. Ravensworth Castle is now a ruin but the breakfast room has a photographic display of the castle in its former splendor. Park Farm is a family ran business comprising of eight bedrooms a country style breakfast room and self catering studio. The 17th century stables have been sympathetically converted into five contemporary mezzanine suites which have a light spacious feel and feature the original beams. The single storey barn has been converted into three spacious classically designed double bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are finished to a very high standard offering the utmost in quality and comfort. Each room is accessed from a very attractive courtyard which is illuminated with a warm glow in the evening. The direct access to the bedrooms allows guests to come and go as they please without being disturbed. Park Farm is subtly lit at night and is easily located so whatever your time of arrival a warm welcome awaits. The country style dining room provides a lovely atmosphere in which to enjoy your early morning refreshments or an evening meal (evening meals:Monday -Thursday). All of our ingredients are locally sourced and your meals will be freshly cooked to order. We therefore request that you book your evening meal when making your reservation.
